A team building workshop involves a series of interactive games and activities that get employees to bond. It is usually presented to the group as a fun activity day rather than mentioning that there are any issues. YES AND...
Our activities generally begin with the concept of Yes, And... The idea is that participants have to hear what someone says and agree that what is said is 100% correct. In fact, they have to then add an idea to it and build upon that initial idea. This leads to very strange and fun conversations. More importantly, they are trained to be open to ideas from others in the group and to look to support others. This builds trust and the laughter bonds the employees.

PING PONG
A collaborative exercise involves a conversation between two participants. They get a list of ten random words from the group and work together to make a ten sentence conversation that uses those words in order. It requires being totally open and comfortable with one another while also thinking quickly on their feet. This is fun and random while usually getting laughs.

Other exercises involve story telling, bonding through group activities and learning the value of being in the moment. Being more present enables people to think on their feet and have mental agility. All of these bond the employees and the content can be adjusted to teach a variety of values to serve the different purposes of a team building workshop.

We come to you and help educate your employees while they have a great time!

WE COME TO YOU!
We work with groups that are small, medium and large. We also work with people that are in the city, the suburbs, and that are in more rural areas. It never made sense to get our own facilities. We come to a venue of your choosing and this allows you to make your own food and beverage options. In general, you want enough light to see, enough space to move around comfortably, and it should be quiet enough to hear. Everything else can be adjusted to.

WHAT IS THE REASON?

The first step is to determine your needs. This includes potential goals, desires and concerns. The more we know about what has already been decided can allow us to narrow the conversation to approaches that interest you.

WHAT ARE THE DETAILS? WHERE? WHEN? HOW MANY?

We need to know the city where the event will be as well as what kind of venue might be used. A date, or date range, for when you would like to have this and what time frame you are looking for will help to determine our commitment and availability. Knowing the size of your group, though that will likely just be an estimate, will allow us to choose appropriate options and have a better feel for the resources required.

DO YOU HAVE A BUDGET?

If you know budget limitations, that can allow us to restrict the conversations to those options that will be within your financial constraints. This works in both directions. We don't want to overbuild and propose options that can't be done. Also, we don't want to provide less than we could realizing the resources that could be made available to better achieve your goals.
