Celebrating and embracing the differences among employees is a great way to gain new perspectives and unique solutions to problems.

Someone's race has absolutely no impact on their ability to perform a job. Institutionalized racism runs deep in the psyche of many people and having an effort to ensure that the impulses that some people may have do not impact hiring practices or the treatment of employees. If there are fewer minority applicants, we can also work on improving those numbers.
There are differences in the personal journey between the genders, by birth, surgery or identity. Nothing reduces the potential capabilities and potential contributions of the individual. Celebrating those differences and the ability to contribute more to a more inclusive company is invaluable that is capable of far more due to that diversity.
Tolerance of others with beliefs that may not match your own is important. This includes the respect of their practices and treating individuals as valued for their contributions. There are valuable lessons to be learned from all religions and embracing them can create new opportunities and solutions to problems.
There is a wide range of physical limitations that people may have. There are the genetic limitations, that people are born with. There are medical ones, caused by disease or debilitating conditions. There are incidental limitations, caused by a physical incident such as an accident or injury in the service of the military. While the body may be more limited, the mind isn't. Their contributions can be quite beneficial to the company.
THE CHEVY NOVA - A CASE STUDY
Lacking diversity can cause major problems. This is a double whammy! First, the legendary tale of the Chevy Nova being sold to Latin America failing due to the name. NO VA is Spanish for "won't go." The story is that due to lack of Latin employees that this fail happened. Probably 99% of executives that are not with Chevrolet believe this, due to their own lack of a diverse background. The reality is that the Nova sold just fine and executives knew about the name issue, but realized that it wasn't an issue, just like Timex won't remind you of an Ex-Spouse.

We work with groups that are small, medium and large. We also work with people that are in the city, the suburbs, and that are in more rural areas. It never made sense to get our own facilities. We come to a venue of your choosing and this allows you to make your own food and beverage options. In general, you want enough light to see, enough space to move around comfortably, and it should be quiet enough to hear. Everything else can be adjusted to. We also have our insurance in order and can have COIs with your venue as an additional insured, if required.
The first step is to determine your needs. This includes potential goals, desires and concerns. The more we know about what has already been decided can allow us to narrow the conversation to approaches that interest you.
We need to know the city where the event will be as well as what kind of venue might be used. A date, or date range, for when you would like to have this and what time frame you are looking for will help to determine our commitment and availability. Knowing the size of your group, though that will likely just be an estimate, will allow us to choose appropriate options and have a better feel for the resources required.
If you know budget limitations, that can allow us to restrict the conversations to those options that will be within your financial constraints. This works in both directions. We don't want to overbuild and propose options that can't be done. Also, we don't want to provide less than we could realizing the resources that could be made available to better achieve your goals.
