We provide gala murder mystery dinners in a variety of themes for private parties, charity fundraisers and corporate events across the nation. We consult with you to come up with the best approach for the group involved and capabilities of your facilities. The Gala Murder Mystery is the industry standard on steroids. It handles larger gatherings including potentially hundreds of audience members.
Murder mysteries and the Roaring 20's go together like speakeasies and flasks! Whether it's dressing like flappers or the association with flouting the law, people love the 20s to let loose and have a great time! Our Alderman theme divides the room into North and South Sides and brings on the fun!
Having a collection of mobsters in your midst allows people to have a fun evening of escape from the everyday. We have a collection of themes with mobsters from modern to the 40's and the 20's. Simply call to discuss what kind of party you'd like to have.
We have a variety of scenarios where a millionaire has rubbed people the wrong way. We can easily adjust his source of wealth to not associate him with people in the room. Members of his entourage want him dead and the audience is asked to solve the crime.
Our own take on the spy genre has the death of 008. The Spy Who Liked Me was always playing second fiddle to his more famous counterpart and his retirement party is filled with seldom do wells that are equally as second-class. The night is filled with fun and frivolity as the audience solves the case.
While we often will perform for weddings, in the case of the gala, we are usually talking about having a show where we have a made up wedding to entertain the crowd. The funny family members entertain the crowd and this can lead to a murder to solve. This can also be done without the murder with just having a fun time in mind.
Let us come up with something to match your theme. We've done everything from a Versace Murder or masquerade ball, to Gilligan's Island or Hawaii Five-0. Our clients approach us and ask us to create something unique for them and we're more than happy to oblige. Challenge us and let's see what we can develop for your group!
WE USE YOUR PARTY THEME We have many themes and can customize to just about any other that you can think of. Some of the more common themes include: The 1920's or 1930's for a Prohibition Era party, A Millionaire's Mansion, A Movie Mogul, Mobsters, A Wedding, Spies, and many others. If you want to have a particular theme that is not on this page, just let us know!
WE CARE FOR YOU! We have methods and techniques to operate with a variety of social distancing, PPE safety equipment, and remote sessions. We consult with you to best determine your concerns and needs and take them into account when determining the best way to work with your team.
OUR GREEN COMMITMENT While ultimately we serve our clients in the way that they require, we work hard to reduce the carbon footprint of any event. We recycle, utilize local talent when preferable, and look to leave places better than we found them. When we do travel, we take pains to reduce our impact on the environment.
WE COME TO YOU!
We work with groups that are small, medium and large. We also work with people that are in the city, the suburbs, and that are in more rural areas. It never made sense to get our own facilities. We come to a venue of your choosing and this allows you to make your own food and beverage options. In general, you want enough light to see, enough space to move around comfortably, and it should be quiet enough to hear. Everything else can be adjusted to.
The first step is to determine your needs. This includes potential goals, desires and concerns. Is it more than just entertainment? If you are looking to show appreciation to clients or employees, for example, then we would take one approach. If it is family and friends, we might approach it differently. The more we know about what has already been decided can allow us to narrow the conversation to approaches that interest you.
We need to know the city where the event will be as well as what kind of venue might be used. A date, or date range, for when you would like to have this and what time frame you are looking for will help to determine our commitment and availability. Knowing the size of your group, though that will likely just be an estimate, will allow us to choose appropriate options for the performance and have a better feel for the resources required.
If you know budget limitations, that can allow us to restrict the conversations to those options that will be within your financial constraints. This works in both directions. We don't want to overbuild and propose options that can't be done. Also, we don't want to not provide a large enough of a show to achieve the results that will exceed your expectations.
I love all things mystery (except the real thing, of course). I read mystery novels. Solve mystery jigsaw puzzles. Throw murder mystery weekend get always. You name it, and this was one of my favorite experiences.
