FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THEY improv to Help MDA "Stars Behind Bars" Event
Fort Lauderdale , FL: THEY improv, Fort Lauderdale's improv troupe, is assisting the Stars Behind Bars program in Aventura for the MDA Telethon Executive Lock-Up. Scheduled for Tuesday, August 16th, 2005 between 11am and 2:30pm at the Prime Grill Restaurant, the MDA "Stars Behind Bars" event looks to raise money to help fight neuromuscular disease.
THEY continue to be a force for good in South Florida with their
Comedy With a Cause program. THEY will serve to help the event by volunteering to help entertain the volunteers and supporters.
"There is no greater inspiration to use comedy to do good works than Jerry Lewis," said Todd Rice. "Part of what THEY are all about is using comedy to benefit the community as a whole. The MDA Telethon exemplifies this and has done so for years. It's nice to be even a small part of that tradition."
The program allows local companies to shine by allowing their executives to be sent as "Stars Behind Bars" to a local restaurant where the executives will solicit bail money that will be donated to the charity for their release.
