THEY improv Presents a Tropical Punch Tribute to Simon Cowell at the Improv on October 7th.

Miami, FL: THEY improv, a leader in South Florida comedy continues their effort at changing the face of comedy in South Florida with their upcoming Tropical Punch birthday tribute show to American Idol's bad boy, Simon Cowell. The show is at the Improv Comedy Club in Hollywood (Florida) at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Thursday, October 7th. The doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start time.

The show will combine the THEY improv professionals and students graduating from the classes taught at the Improv Comedy Club by THEY improv director Todd Rice. The audience will see if the performers "Got Talent" and are worthy of being called an "Idol". At the same time, everyone in attendance will be entreated to sign birthday cards that will be sent off to Simon Cowell to honor his birthday.

"Simon Cowell has come to the US and become such a huge part of our culture, the least we can do is throw him a birthday party," said Todd Rice. "We know that he's probably not going to show up, but that doesn't mean that we can't celebrate everyones favorite bad boy."

The reality of Simon Cowell is that he has become a mainstay of American culture and has been a positive force for good on and off the television.

Some of the tickets will be provided to the friends and family of students and otherwise will be available from area charities or at the box office for $10 (with proceeds going to charity). There is a two-drink minimum and attendees must be 18 or over.

Tickets are $10 + tax, with the ticket sales going to the charity.
