November 29, 2005 - THEY improv and STD's celebrate the end of Hurricane Season in their acclaimed 'Hunkerin' Down' with MOD 27 on Saturday, December 3rd at 8pm.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THEY improv and STD's celebrate the end of Hurricane Season with a special encore performance of their acclaimed 'Hunkerin' Down' in Lake Worth on Saturday, December 3rd at 8pm.
Lake Worth , FL: THEY improv, Fort Lauderdale's improv troupe, has been invited to celebrate the end of Hurricane Season in Lake Worth in a show presented by Mod 27. The performance piece of 'Hunkerin' Down' already received rave reviews when performed at the Gainesville Improv Festival in November.
THEY continue to change the face of Comedy in South Florida with this mini-invasion of Palm Beach County.
"
THEY are proud to have been invited to sit in with Mod27," said Todd Rice. "Mod27 is a top-notch troupe that is recognized for their talent around the country. We're always happy to share any stage with them."
Each THEY improv show is based on audience suggestions, so there can never be the same show twice. Every show is a unique experience and is shared only among those in attendance. The 'Hunkerin' Down' is directed by Ed Zeltner and is a joint effort between STD's and THEY improv.
Every THEY improv show also benefits local charities, and THEY will not accept payment for this performance, with all funds going to the Take Heed Theatre Company (of which Mod27 is a subsidiary). More information on the Take Heed Theatre Company is available on their
website.
Organizations interested in developing a relationship with THEY improv to help raise awareness and funds through the Comedy With a Cause program should contact Todd Rice on the THEY improv Hotline at 305-370-2460.
The performance is at the Klein Dance Studio located at 811 Lake Avenue in Lake Worth. The show is at 8:00pm and tickets are $10
($7 for students or seniors). More information about Mod 27 and their shows is available on their
website.
