LITTLE FALLS - Flapper dresses and Fedora hats will be in fashion as Horizon Health goes back to the Roaring '20s beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Little Falls Ballroom.

"We are shaking things up a bit this year and offering a unique evening for our guests attending our fundraiser," stated Vicki Villebro, marketing director for Horizon Health in a news release.

Tickets are $40 and include hors d'oeuvres, meal and a murder mystery dinner conducted by THEY improv Group from Minneapolis. The group is comprised of some of the top improvisation comedy talent that will immerse the guests in their performance.

"It's important for the community to remember that they can buy one ticket or 10 tickets — you don't need a group to come to our event," Villebro said. "You will be welcomed no matter how many tickets you purchase." Guests will have a selection of silent auction items to bid on and opportunities to win an iPad Air, stainless steel grill package and a multitude of other items. The event includes games for guests at the fundraising event prior to dinner at 7 p.m. There is no dress requirement, but most of the guests enjoy this opportunity to "dress up" for an evening out, Villebro said. "Since we are having a 1920s Speakeasy Theme for our event, there will be prizes given for best dressed 1920s attire."

Horizon Health is also currently selling raffle tickets for $10 for a chance to win $1,000, a rose gold diamond pendant (valued at $1,245), a Thompson/Center Camo Venture Predator Rifle with Scope (valued at $638), $500 cash, $100 cash or $50 cash. The winner will be drawn at the Harvest Ball and don't need to be present to win.

Horizon Health is a nonprofit housing and health care provider headquartered in Pierz and has created in-home services, programs and living options for our aging and disabled community members since 1991. Tickets to the Harvest Ball are available at F & M State Bank or Horizon Health in Pierz. In Little Falls, tickets may be picked up at Gold Smith Jewelers or Radio Shack. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event.
