GILDA'S CLUB OF SOUTH FLORIDA TO BENEFIT FROM A SPECIAL "COMEDY WITH A CAUSE" PERFORMANCE AT PARADISE IMPROVBy Eleanor Hannon - July 13th, 2006
They Improv, Fort Lauderdale's Improv Troupe and creator of "Comedy With a Cause," will be at the Seminole Paradise Hard Rock Improv on July 19, 8 p.m. This special combined performance is a rarity and will feature the top improvisational comedy talent in South Florida, for the sole purpose of supporting Gilda's Club in a night of unrestricted comedy and top-notch entertainment. They Improv continues their effort at changing the face of comedy in South Florida with their benefit performance, for Gilda's Club, named for Gilda Ratner, to enable men, women and children living with cancer, and their families and friends, to join with others to build social and emotional support as a supplement to their medical care.
"Comedy With a Cause" continues to raise money for local and national charities while entertaining audiences at some of South Florida's most prestigious venues.

About THEY improv
THEY improv is an informal group of actors getting together and performing improv, often for charities and always for the betterment of everyone. For now there is no corporate structure and no financial relationship, with their first several performances to be done for charities and the money never even being seen by the troupe. Marketing funds and efforts will either be donated by the members or provided by the charities themselves.
