Chicago is a great city and has a long-standing tradition of comedy. It's simply known as the home of improv and there are a lot of great options for seeing shows locally. This includes a variety of improv comedy, sketch and stand up at a variety of venues.

For sketch, there is the famous Second City on Wells. They have multiple stages and a variety of shows available. Simply contact them directly for options.

For improv comedy there is always iO, the Annoyance, ComedySportz and a variety of other shows. There are regular shows and a lot different styles available.

For stand-up, there are many options. Of course the key to it is not the club, but the comedian. You can always find out more about the comedians online. Learn about them and decide.

The metropolitan area is huge and you can find almost anything you want in any of these sections. That can be downtown, on the North Shore, in the Southland, the Western Suburbs which has the Illinois Technology and Research Corridor or the Nortwestern Suburbs with the Golden Corridor of major companies extending outward past O'Hare.

As for unique places that are only found here, you can see anything from standing on the glass platform of the Willis Tower, have drinks at the top of the John Hancock Building, see a bronze Shit Fountain, enjoy an Oz themed public park or shop for Secret Agent supplies in Wicker Park. Whether enjoying the Tiffany Dome or the Palmer Houe, there's no shortage of amazing architecture. In fact, there are architectural tours including boats on the Chicago River to enjoy the Wrigley Building down to the Mercantile Exchange.

Food-wise, you should experience Chicago as Chicagoans would. This includes the Wieners Circle, Billy Goat's Tavern, and Lou Malnati's Pizzeria. There are amazing high-quality restaurants that go beyond the Chicago experience, but these three cover three of the basic four food groups of Chicago. This includes burgers, dogs and pizza.

THEY improv works in all of these areas and can extend even further and knows the differences between the areas. We are proud to serve all of Chicagoland including downtown, the Loop, Near North, Lincoln Park, the Gold Coast, the Magnificient Mile, Michigan Avenue, Navy Pier, Old Town, Bucktown, Ravenswood, Rogers Park, Uptown, Wicker Park, Wrigleyville, Fuller Park, Lake View and Greektown as well as the suburbs including Arlington Heights, Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Cicero, Deerfield, Des Plaines, Evanston, Glencoe, Glenview, Gurnee, Highland Park, Kenilworth, Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Naperville, Northbrook, Oak Forest, Oak Lawn, Old Orchard, Palatine, Park Ridge, Rosemont, Schaumburg, Skokie, Tinley Park, Waukegan, Wilmette, Winnetka and Woodridge or anywhere else you can think of from the North Shore to the south side.
