July 27, 2005 - THEY improv to participate in the 4th Annual South Florida Improv Jam to benefit Gilda's Club South Florida

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mod 27, in cooperation with The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, to host the 4th Annual South Florida Improv Jam to benefit Gilda's Club South Florida Saturday, August 13th

Palm Beach County, FL: The 4th Annual South Florida Improv Jam , hosted this year by the Lake Worth improv troupe Mod 27, will be held on Saturday, August 13th at 8:00pm and will feature improv troupes from throughout South Florida including: Impromedy, Just the Funny, Laughing Gas, Name Change Pending, Mod 27, and THEY improv.

The event is being held at the Kravis Center's Cohen Pavilion, in Persson Hall on Saturday, August 13th at 8:00pm. Tickets are $12 and may be reserved by calling the Kravis Center's box office at 561-832-SHOW (7469) or outside the calling area 1-800-KRAVIS 1 (800-572-8471) or online at: www.Kravis.org. The general public may also choose to attend one of four (4) free Improv Workshops being offered by instructors from participating troupes from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Class sizes are limited, so positions in the workshops should be reserved early.

This year marks the 4th time that various Improv Troupes in our region have come together to perform in an effort to celebrate an art form that is quickly becoming a staple in South Florida while assisting local charities. This year the event's proceeds will benefit Gilda's Club South Florida. Their mission is to provide a place where men, women and children living with cancer and their families and friends join with others to build social and emotional support as a supplement to medical care. Activities and events are free to members and are offered in a non-residential home-like setting. Gilda's Club is a free social and emotional support community named for Gilda Radner.

"We are fortunate to have the cooperation of the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts," said Mod 27 Co-Executive Producer Dave Hyland. "This event is the first time such an event has been held at the Kravis Center and reminds us of how much this art form has grown in South Florida over the past few years. We hope that our turn as host will help continue the growth of improv in Palm Beach County."

About THEY improv
THEY improv is an informal group of actors getting together and performing improv, often for charities and always for the betterment of everyone. For now there is no corporate structure and no financial relationship, with their first several performances to be done for charities and the money never even being seen by the troupe. Marketing funds and efforts will either be donated by the members or provided by the charities themselves.

VIDEO CLIPS

WE HAVE SOME VIDEO CLIPS AVAILABLE

Below are a few video clips. Our events are private, for the most part. This makes bringing cameras inappropriate. So we actually have very few. Some are professional, and others on the list are by request from specific parties. We would be glad to discuss this with you if you like.

THEY improv performed a murder mystery dinner for Bravo TV's Real Housewives of New York. This is a video from part of the show:

We have a collection of videos that were part of Daytime Blueridge on WSLS when we did a live murder mystery on their TV show. You can gain access to one of the videos on their site and access the other videos from there.
