THEY improv to bring improvised comedy back to Fort Lauderdale.

After a long absence, improvisational comedy is making a come-back in Fort Lauderdale. Several members of various troupes and actors with years of experience are coming together to perform in venues throughout Broward County. Together, THEY hope to generate a revived interest in the art form in Fort Lauderdale.

"Fort Lauderdale is the promised land. It's an area with no improv comedy and huge audiences looking for things to do," says founder Todd Rice. "We know that we'll be able to provide a show that'll have them coming back for more."

Why are "THEY" the ones doing it? For years improvisers have been asking who will break into the Fort Lauderdale market and put the effort into creating an improv community in Broward. "Maybe they will do it" or "They look like they might try it." In the meantime no one has made the effort. Well, now "THEY" have finally arrived.

ABOUT US
THEY is an informal group of actors getting together and performing improv. For now there is no structure and no financial relationship, with their first several performances to be done for charities and the money never even being seen by the troupe. Marketing funds will either be donated by the members or provided by the charities themselves.
